Wadsworth Speech and Debate team member James Welsh, junior, performed his humorus number called ‘Stop the Ride’. During his performance, Welsh went in between present and past versions of himself. Welsh poked fun at how the younger version of his character never was invited to the ‘Make Out Club’ because girls did not like him. Welsh used mouth sounds to indicte when Welsh switched between older and younger versions of the character Speech and Debate Student of the Year was Anna Wallace who also won Fine Arts student of the year. Wadsworth High Hosts 2024 Commencement Ceremony [Photo and Video Gallery]

Commencement for the Wadsworth High School class of 2024 happened on Sunday, May 26 at Art Wright Stadium. Grant Young, president of the senior class,  opened the ceremony. Also speaking was Dr. Vincent Suber, principal of Wadsworth High School, Lotus Lemp, who spoke on behalf of the academics programs, Anna Wallace, who spoke on behalf of the art program, and Brianna Perkins, who spoke on behalf of the athletics program.
