Senior Sunset, a special event just for seniors on May 4, celebrated their journey and achievements while also allowing students to wear college shirts for the college they are committed to.
The event allowed seniors to enjoy time together before graduation. The school also rented a Swensons truck for students to buy burgers and milkshakes.

Senior Sunset was hosted in the student parking lot. The Staff set up multiple spikeball nets and cornhole boards, while also letting students throw a football around.
Wadsworth High School’s Student Council hosted the event. The student council also hosted Senior Sunrise.
The 2026 senior class will graduate on May 8, marking the end of a 13-year journey.
“I just like hanging out with my friends for one of the last times,” said Clayton Perry, a Senior at Wadsworth High School.
Perry has attended Wadsworth City Schools his entire life and is graduating after 14 years of schooling. Perry is going to trade school to become an aviation mechanic.
“I can’t wait to leave high school and move on to college, but I am pretty sad to leave all of my friends, since we won’t all be going to the same college,” said Jillian Septer, a Senior at Wadsworth High School.
Senior Sunset was one of the last events for the seniors. The seniors still have prom, scheduled for May 9 at the Galaxy Banquet Center.
