The Wadsworth High School Choir concert is arriving soon and here is what ticket-buyers should expect: The winter concerts will take place on Dec. 11 and 12, both days at 7 p.m. in the PAC and ticket prices will cost $6 per person for a reserved seat. Tickets can be purchased through the QR code.
Hannah Tefteller is a Junior at WHS who is a singer in the high schools choir and she is excited for their upcoming performance in December.
“The viewers can expect an amazing holiday spectacular! We have five choirs, each performing three to five songs full of amazing choreography and vocals!” Tefteller said.
“For the Holiday Concert, the PAC is always so beautifully decorated and just has the perfect holiday vibe matching all the songs and the joyful atmosphere.”
The choir is performing many songs for the Holiday Concert, some including “Favorite One” and “Holiday Tango” where the performers present complex choreography with hand fans.

Kalyn Davis is the Choir Director for the high school where she directs five choirs, theory, online music classes, and two musicals per year and she is currently conducting rehearsals with the student performers for the upcoming Holiday Concert.
“My favorite part of the concert is near the end where the students are all singing the traditional song Silent Night with candles surrounding the stage.” Davis said. “The kids have worked very hard, working together every lab and a lot of extra rehearsals to make them as prepared as possible to be able to preform in December.”
The choir is currently still checking off choreography and in the rehearsal process for some of the concert, but with the amount of time put into the work it is expected by the contributors to be a crowd pleaser and different from previous years. “You’re going to hear serious and goofy Christmas songs to help cater to the holiday joy that the Wadsworth High School Choir hopes to spread to the audience this holiday season.” Davis said. “I also love how we feature all different groups and combinations, like we have an all suits number, ‘Come Down the Chimney Tonight’ with all the guys in the department, which is a cool thing to see from the choir in my personal opinion.
Davis also believes that this specific holiday concert will stand out from the others, considering the circumstances of the set list, themes, props, outfits and the amount of students participating in the choir this year.
