Wadsworth Speech and Debate team member James Welsh, junior, performed his humorus number called ‘Stop the Ride’. During his performance, Welsh went in between present and past versions of himself. Welsh poked fun at how the younger version of his character never was invited to the ‘Make Out Club’ because girls did not like him. Welsh used mouth sounds to indicte when Welsh switched between older and younger versions of the character Speech and Debate Student of the Year was Anna Wallace who also won Fine Arts student of the year. Hadley James has been on the Bruin staff for one year and is currently a staff writer. In the future, she hopes to be an editor and continue to help and learn from her peers. She is looking forward to new and exciting ideas and growing her relationships with her peers. She hopes to learn more and continuously work on becoming a better writer. She loves to go to concerts and listen to all types of music, but Taylor Swift is her favorite. She also loves to spend her free time with her friends and family.
