Wadsworth High School’s After Prom committee is hosting a Bingo night on Feb. 28, 2025, to raise money for the After Prom. The goal of the event is to raise over $5,000 for the 2025 class. 

Betsy Painting, who is helping run the event, said that the committee wanted to try something different from years past and decided on bingo. 

“In previous years, they have done Name that Tune & euchre tournaments, so we decided to try something different,” Painting said. 

Parent volunteers make up the committee to raise money. The After Prom will be hosted at the Foundry Social in Medina.

“I know how much work they put into the event and I’m excited to see how it goes,” said Charley Griffin, a senior at Wadsworth High School.

There will be ten rounds of bingo along with three boards of bingo included in each game. Some of the prizes that will be given out include a Yeti cooler, Blackstone Grill, Ohio State tickets, a spa package, and a golf gift certificate. There will also be a 50/50 drawing on wine and liquor baskets.

Tickets will need to be purchased before the event. Guests will be able to purchase them at the guidance office of Wadsworth High School or Venmo the PTO @WHSPTO25 for $25.  Guests will be given the option to reserve a table beforehand for $25.

“We hope people want to come to support the Class of 2025 and have a fun night out playing bingo with family & friends,” Painting said.

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the bingo game will begin at 7 p.m. The QR code to purchase tickets is attached to the flyer and the link can be found here.
