Our little, high school newspaper got the chance to cover a major, national event. This is our story.

While the students each have their own political leanings, the Bruin is non-partisan. Students were given opportunities to work on Republican and Democratic campaigns, but because President Trump was not in Iowa while we were there, many of our up close experiences with candidates, their staff, and their supporters came from his challengers.

As a school newspaper, we plan to continue our coverage of the 2020 Presidential Election all the way up to inauguration day.
