Wrestling
The wrestling team were the Region 2 Champions to move on to the State Dual Team Championship, where they lost to Elyria, 46-20.
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball lost 41-33 at Stow and shared the Suburban League National Title with them after defeating Hudson 47-27 on senior night and are now (17-4) overall and (13-1) in the league.
Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team dropped a pair of home games to Twinsburg, 59-50, and Nordonia, 442-39. They then bounced back with a huge win over Stow 49-39 and they are now (8-10) overall and (6-6) in the Suburban League.
Boys Bowling
The boys bowling team placed 3rd out of 12 teams at the Suburban League Championships. They then beat Lexington 2178-2063 to finish the regular season (12-3) overall and (9-2) in the Suburban League.
Girls Bowling
The girls bowling team placed 4th out of 12 teams at Suburban League Championships. They then fell to Lexington 2027-1786 in their final regular season match to finish it at (7-7) overall and (7-3) in the Suburban League.
Boys Swim
Gabe Currens, 12, placed 2nd in the district diving meet to qualify for states. The boys swim team had the sectional meet this week and district qualifying placers are as follows. John Edurese, , won the 100 Butterfly, JD Webb, 11, placed 17th and Michael Edwards, 12, placed 18th. Edurese also placed 2nd in the 100 Backstroke. The team of Owen Porpora, 12, Josh Craddock, 11, Timmy Edwards, 11, and Edurese placed 4th in the 400 Freestyle Relay. The team of Porpora, Edurese, Craddock, and Timmy Edwards placed 7th in the 200 Freestyle Relay.The team of Webb, Alexander Habegger, 11, Michael Edwards, and Kieran Nolan, 9, placed 10th in the 200 Medley Relay. Porpora placed 15th in the 50 Freestyle and 17th in the 100 Freestyle.
Girls Swim
The girls swim team had the sectional meet this week. District qualifiers are as follows:
Elyse Waldow, 11, placed 1st and set new meet and school records in the 100 Breaststroke. She also placed 3rd in the 200 IM and set a new school record. Hannah Berlin, 12, placed 1st in the 500 Freestyle and set a new school record in the 100 Butterfly, finishing 5th. Haley Hochstetler, 12, placed 3rd in the 100 Freestyle and 5th in the 50 Freestyle. Kylee Maibach, 11, placed 20th in the 100 Butterfly. The team of Waldow, Maibach, Hochstetler, and Kaylee Moran, 9, placed 3rd set a new school record in the 200 Medley Relay. Moran also placed 20th in the 100 Backstroke. The team of Hochstetler, Maibach, Berlin, and Waldow placed 5th in the 200 Freestyle Relay. The team of Berlin, Moran, Mary Watson, , and Janae Joachim, , placed 11th in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
