Football
The Grizzlies football team remained undefeated with a 42-0 shutout win over Cuyahoga Falls. Senior night is tonight at Art Wright Stadium with North Royalton coming to town.
Volleyball
On Tuesday, with a 3-1 victory over North Royalton, the volleyball team clinched the Suburban League outright. Then, on Thursday, they had senior night for Kacie Evans, Leah McNutt, and Brooke Burton. They defeated Twinsburg 3-0 to make their record (19-1) overall and (10-0) in the league.
Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team lost both of their games this week, falling 6-2 to
Dublin Coffin and 4-2 at Brecksville to put their record at (6-7) overall and (3-3) in the league. They host Hudson at home on Tuesday the 9th.
Girls Soccer
The girls soccer team went 2-1 this week, bouncing back from a 3-1 loss to Hoban with consecutive victories. They won 5-0 at Highland and then 1-0 over Brecksville, the latter of which was senior night for Jordan Barnhart, Mia Gambiccini, Kendall Kraft, Elizabeth Talabac, and Teddi Farson. Now with a record of (7-3-3) overall and (3-1-1) in the league, they host Norwayne on Monday the 8th.
Boys Cross Country
The boys cross country team did not have a meet last weekend. They run in the Medina Cross Country Festival on Saturday.
Girls Cross Country
The girls cross country team did not have a meet last weekend. They run in the Medina Cross Country Festival on Saturday.
Girls Golf
The girls golf team finished 6th out of 15 teams at sectionals. Senior Secilia Ho placed first overall by shooting a 72.
Boys Golf
The boys golf team finished 7th out of 18 teams at sectionals. Matt Moore, 12, finished 14th with an 81.
