Wadsworth High School seniors recently held their Senior Sunrise on Sept. 5. Students gathered at the track by the school, watching the sunrise and enjoying breakfast. The menu included pancakes, sausage and small packaged items. Seniors also participated in games such as kicking around a soccer ball and playing cornhole.
Wadsworth senior Reagan Bradley attended Senior Sunrise.
“I enjoyed the company with friends and free breakfast,” Bradley said.

The event was structured to include activities. Some helpers served breakfast while others chaperoned to make sure seniors were having a good time.
“It was pretty well planned,” Bradley said.
Another senior, Callista Kuzmik, went to Senior Sunrise with her friends. She took part in the jean-painting trend, where students decorated their “senior jeans.”
“I thought it was fun,” Kuzmik said. “But they didn’t let anyone eat on the track because of the day before [Senior Kickoff].”
Senior Sunrise took place one day after Senior Kickoff due to the weather.

“There was a whole bunch of stuff for people to do,” Kuzmik said. “Everyone was socializing, everyone took photos, there were definitely a bunch of senior memories taking place.”
Seniors began arriving at 6 a.m. and went back to class at the normal start time.
“I am happy we’re doing stuff at the beginning of the year,” Kuzmik said. “I just hope they don’t take away the stuff at the end of the year too.”
