The newest seasons of “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” “Wednesday” and “Stranger Things” are set to premiere this year. All shows have not released new episodes in years, leading to great anticipation for all the new seasons. Teaser trailers have been released for “The Summer I Turned Pretty” and “Wednesday,” yet the trailer for “Stranger Things” is soon to be released.
The previous season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” was first released in July of 2023. While the third season was slated to release in the summer of 2024, the SAG Aftra Writer’s Strike postponed production of the series, pushing the release date back to this year.
“There are so many scenes from the third book that I want to see played out,” said Sydney Greenlees, a fan of “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” “Especially those that happened in the summer house with Belly and Conrad.”

“Wednesday” season two is set to release in two parts, with the first four episodes being released in August. Anticipation for the show has been high, as the last season was released in November of 2022.
“I am excited to see how the characters continue to evolve,” said Reagan Hunt, fan of the show “Wednesday.” “I want to know how they continue after the choices they made in the first season.”
“Stranger Things” has not released a new episode since July of 2022, with the final episode leaving viewers on a cliffhanger of

the fate of the “Stranger Things” characters and the town of Hawkins, Ind. Production for the fifth season finished in December of last year, and the crew has been working on editing the show ever since.
“Stranger Things” season five will have eight episodes, ranging from a duration of 45 minutes to an hour. The previous season contained episodes over an hour in length, with the finale over two hours, leaving the producers of the show, Matt and Ross Duffer, wanting to limit the runtime of the episodes for the latest season.
