Football

The Grizzlies football team clinched a share of the Suburban League and continued their undefeated run with another shutout, 33-0 over Brecksville. They are (9-0) overall and (6-0) in the Suburban League. They finish off the regular season at home against Hudson for senior night this Friday, the 26th.

Volleyball

The volleyball team defeated Parma 3-0 in the first round of the playoffs. They only allowed Parma to score a total of 17 points through the three sets and extended their winning streak to 23 straight games.Then, in the district semi-final, they faced Strongsville, who were the Grizzlies sole loss in their first game this season. It went differently this time, with Wadworth winning in four sets to extend their Medina County record win streak to 24 and advance to the district final. On Saturday, October 27th at 2:30 at Brunswick high school, they will face first-seeded Padua, who has won the Division II state title two years in a row before moving up to Division I this season.

Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team lost to Brunswick 3-1 in the Sectional Final.

Girls Soccer

The 3-seed Grizzlies finished the season as the District runner-up. They won a down to the wire game against second seeded Brunswick in the semifinals. The game was tied 1-1 at halftime and 2-2 at the end of regulation. Then the teams went scoreless through a pair of overtime periods, leading to a shootout. The Grizzlies won a shootout 4-2 on a clinching score by Kendall Kraft, 12. They then faced Medina, the one seed, in the district final and ultimately fell 1-0.

Boys Cross Country

The boys cross country team finished 7th out of 13 teams at districts. Benji House, 12, placed 12th overall with a 16:46 and qualified for the regional meet on Saturday at Boardman High School at 12:30.

Girls Cross Country

The girls cross country team finished 2nd overall at the district meet at Medina, qualifying for regionals. Clare Nicholas, 9, finished 5th overall with a 19:07 and Laney Corell, 10, got 7th with a 19:42.

Girls Golf

Secilia Ho, 12, shot a 77, 7 over par, at the state match this past weekend to tie for 19th place overall.
