Football

The Grizzlies football team opened up Suburban League play with a 35-25 victory over Nordonia to go to (4-0) overall and go on the road at Stow to face the Bulldogs tonight.

Volleyball

The Grizzlies volleyball team extended their winning streak to 13 straight games over the past week. They defeated Southeast, Solon, and Jackson to win the Jackson Tournament Saturday. They then defeated Hudson at home in four sets on Tuesday and won again in three sets at Nordonia on Thursday. They go on the road to face Beaumont tomorrow, the 22nd.

Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team had senior night last Saturday, celebrating Jacob Brown, 12, Max Lenc, 12, Austin Trout, 12, Owen Porpora, 12, Noah Porter, 12, Kai Wagner, 12, and Seth Beldean,12. They dropped both games this week, to Wooster 5-1 and North Royalton 1-0, but still maintain a winning record overall (5-4) and a .500 league record (1-0). They look to get back on track at Medina on Saturday night.

Girls Soccer

The girls soccer team upped their record to (5-1-3) with a 4-0 road victory over Nordonia. This gives them a Suburban League record of (3-0-1) as they face Green on Saturday.

Boys Cross Country

The boys cross country team finished 28th out of 42 teams at the Spartan Invitational at Boardman last weekend. They were led by top 100 finishes by Benji House, 12, (41st) and Sam Drown, 12, (89th). They are running in the Malone Invitational at Glenoak High School on Saturday, the 22nd.

Girls Cross Country

The girls cross country team finished 9th out of 42 teams at the Spartan Invitational at Boardman last weekend. They were led by top 50 finishes by Clare Nicholas, 9, (13th), Rachel Murphy, 9, (39th), and Ashley Galek, 10, (49th). They are running in the Malone Invitational at Glenoak High School on Saturday, the 22nd.

Girls Golf

This week the girls golf team celebrated senior night for Secilia Ho, 12, and Gaby Berhns, 12 this Wednesday. Unfortunately, that night they fell to Hudson 188-210, after also losing to Brecksville 196-203 on Tuesday. This gives them a record of (5-5) overall and (3-4) in the league. They face Theodore Roosevelt on Monday at the Fairways at Twin Lakes.

Boys Golf

The boys golf team celebrated their senior night on Thursday for Matt Moore, 12, Will Virgin, 12, Logan Reeves, 12, and Cooper Wrobel, 12. However, they lost 161-172 to Hudson. They also lost to Brecksville on Tuesday 162-177. They finish the week (4-9) overall and (2-5) in the league. They have the Suburban League Championships on Thursday the 27th at Goodpark Golf Course.

Girls Tennis

The girls tennis team fell 5-0 to Hudson on Tuesday and 3-2 at Green on Wednesday, but finished the week off win a 4-1 victory over Our Lady of the Elms to finish the week with an overall record of (10-6) and a Suburban League record of (4-3). They have the Suburban League Championships tomorrow, Saturday the 22nd, at Highland High School.
