Wadsworth High School held Junior Banquet for the class of 2026 on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The festivities lasted from 7-10 p.m.
Tickets were available to purchase online for $45, covering the dance and the cost of dinner. The dance itself was held at the Wadsworth Galaxy restaurant in the banquet hall. A dinner buffet was provided to all attendees as well, serving noodles, chicken, potatoes and desserts, which included cookies and brownies.
“The dance was super fun, but the food was definitely the best part,” said Riley Gibson, a junior who attended the dance.
The DJ at the dance allowed requests for songs, giving students the opportunity to dance to their favorite songs with their friends.
While the girls dressed formally, adorning sparkly dresses and tall heels, guys were seen wearing all sorts of outfits as they dressed in large, matching groups. These included animal and Hawaiian-inspired attire.
Overall, the dance was received well by the junior class. It provided time to be with their entire class and have a good time with their friends and dates.
“I had a really good time with my friends, and I loved dancing and listening to the music,” said Larkin Tackett, another junior who attended the dance.
Junior banquet hosted almost the entire junior class, and certainly excited the juniors for their time as seniors for the next school year.
