The Wadsworth Farmer’s Market is a staple in the community, providing a place for small businesses to advertise and people to shop locally and support the vendors.
At the Wadsworth Farmer’s Market, there is a wide variety of stands selling all kinds of products. Produce and baked goods were the most common products sold, however, there were stalls selling different items such as homemade dish towels and honey. Some were even promoting social groups.
“There are a lot of great vendors here, and a lot of opportunity to sell your products,” said Chrissy Crucioli, owner of Lil Lucy’s Sweets And Treats, a local business selling macarons in a large assortment of flavors.
Crucioli sets up at the Wadsworth Farmer’s Market every weekend and said that she sees an array of ages at the market, from children to shoppers in their sixties. In all, the environment is friendly and inviting, Crucioli, as a regular, even mentioned how kind and nice everyone is at the function.
“I think the farmer’s market is important, I think it’s a great thing. They provide great fresh produce for families in Wadsworth,” said Cindy Richards, a Wadsworth local who frequents the farmer’s market.
Richards said that she heard about the farmer’s market first on social media, and has been coming regularly for around two years since.
Overall, everyone at the Wadsworth Farmer’s Market seems pleased with their time spent. It holds a crucial spot in the Main Street experience, and since being established in 2016, it has stayed popular among vendors and pedestrians alike.
People crowded the parking lot of the Central Intermediate School, where the market is held every Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM from June through September.
