This past Friday, Main Street Wadsworth hosted their yearly Christmas event the Candlelight Walk. The Candlelight Walk is the event to kick off the holiday season and is where the Christmas tree in the square is lit for all to see. During the event there were many activities for little kids and families to participate in such as feeding reindeer at the historic Johnson house, walking around the businesses on Main Street, many that were opened with fun treats and crafts, The Little Roaming Railroad, carriage rides, and many more.

My name is Riley Hunt and I am a senior at Wadsworth High School. I am graduating in May of 2025 and will be majoring in Military Social Work. I have been on the Bruin Staff for two years, and this year, I am the Print Editor-in-Chief. I joined the Bruin due to my love for writing and as a way to further my knowledge of it. My favorite stories to write are news and feature stories but I also love writing in-depths here and there. As I graduate, I look back on my time at The Bruin and am grateful because it has taught me how to work/lead a team, how to better my writing and interviewing skills and has led me to meet some of my best friends.

Noah is the Entertainment Editor of The Bruin. He has been on the staff for over 2 years. Noah joined the newspaper for his love of writing and wanted to further advance his knowledge of topics in the news. Noah enjoys writing entertainment and features stories the most, but also enjoys writing in-depth stories and diving into topics deeper than a surface level. Throughout the class, he has refined his writing skills as well as his social skills due to conducting multiple interviews. Without The Bruin, he never would have been given the opportunity to talk with people from different backgrounds and learn more about the world around him. He has found friends through The Bruin that will last a lifetime and he is forever grateful for the connections he made in the class.
