Every year Wadsworth High School has a homecoming pep rally the Friday before homecoming. Homecoming is a dance that all grades can attend with a DJ and many other fun things to do. The homecoming assembly is different every year depending on what the student council decides would be the most interesting for the students. This year the assembly started off with a teacher vs student musical chairs. It was very competitive and Mr. Shrock ended up winning a final battle between him and Mr. Seiber. Following the musical chairs was a mini volleyball game, the competitors were the girls volleyball team with a record of 16-2 vs the football team, the girls volleyball team left with the win. To finish off the assembly, the principles awarded the spirit stick to the most spirited grade. The cheerleaders went around and did the ‘do it’ chant and whichever grade did it the best got the spirit stick. After going around to all the grades the seniors were declared the winners.
