Wadsworth High Celebrates Prom 2023 [Photo Slide Show]
Wadsworth High School hosted prom this weekend, May 13 at the Galaxy Banquet Center.
“I had gone [to prom] in 2020 when we had the shutdown and then I went last year, however, this year was definitely the largest I’ve been to at the Galaxy,” said Myles Fortner, senior.
The dance took place from 7-10 pm. Pasta, mashed potatoes, chicken, corn, and bread were served to the attendees. Students were allowed to leave the dance at 9:30 in order to get ready for after prom if needed. After prom was held at Kalahari, a water park in Sandusky. The busses left the high school at 11 to head up to Kalahari and they did not return until 6 AM.
“After never having been to prom and experiencing it for the first time, it felt like such a coming-of-age movie moment, being surrounded by all your friends in fancy dresses and tuxes and listening to your favorite music blasting is such a fun experience,” said Emma Watson, junior at WHS. “I’m so glad to have been invited to go with my foreign exchange student friends.”
